**Latvia’s leading real estate developer “Merks mājas” continues to develop the award-winning residential houses
project Mežpilsēta and has started the construction of stage II. A new building will be constructed in the project
enveloped by a forest and the Dreiliņupīte River providing 47 homes in a green and family-like environment. To
take care of customers’ comfort the developer will give a EUR 5,000 discount for purchasing a new apartment to
the first five buyers, who conclude a reservation agreement. Stage II of Mežpilsēta is planned to be
commissioned at the end of 2024 and apartment prices start from EUR 106,000.**

“Our stage I of Mežpilsēta has already proven itself by becoming TOP 3 Best Building in Latvia 2022 in the nomination
“New Residential Building” and we are convinced of our ability to hold the bar high also in stage II of the project. This
project is special to us due to its location. We know that when young families choose a home they want their potential
home to be located at an accessible distance from public transport and city environment, and at the same time close to
nature. Forest is literally breathing near Mežpilsēta – I believe that the proximity of forest and the Dreiliņupīte River and
their peace will be appreciated by young families with small children and by the residents, who wish to enjoy peaceful
rest among dynamic work buzz in their home,” **Mikus Freimanis, Member of the Board of “Merks mājas” tells.**

**Class A energy efficiency and extra comfort**

A new class A energy efficiency residential building will be built within stage II of Mežpilsēta, and it will contain 47
apartment with functional planning. The new building will have six storeys providing apartments of two to four rooms. The
apartment area will be from 44 to 82 square metres making it possible to find the most appropriate solution for followers
of different lifestyles.

Apartments in stage II of the Mežpilsēta project will also be transferred with full interior finishing. Together with the
apartment any apartment owner will have access to a storage room on the basement floor of the building, providing the
possibility to conveniently store things that do not need to be stored in the apartment every day.

For additional comfort, the building will have an elevator that can take you also to the basement floor, thus easing daily
life considerably, while the first floor of the building will have a closed common use room to keep a bicycle or a stroller.
To have rest and recreation opportunities at home, a common use room of 60 m 2 will be provided on the basement floor
of the house and there will also be a 32.6 m 2 outdoor terrace, which can be freely used by any apartment owner.
Residents, who like being together with their friends and those, who work from home every day and want to change their
work and rest environment, will certainly appreciate the common use room with an exit to the outdoor terrace.

**Peace of Mežciems**

Mežpilsēta is a fenced territory with video surveillance that makes living in the peaceful Mežciems even safer and more
pleasant. For an extra fee, residents will have outdoor parking spaces, including also electric car parking spaces in the
territory of the project. Residents will also be able to enjoy recreation in the territory of houses – a children playground is
available in the yard, as well as a special recreation area with arbours for spending time together.

It is not less important that the project is located between a forest and a river opening up a perfect opportunity for active
lifestyle and leisurely walks. At the same time, everything necessary for good life – food, household and furniture
supermarkets, as well as active recreation opportunities – is close to the project.
